Art has been my passion my whole life. After taking my first photograph over 25 years ago on a family trip out west, I fell in love with photography. I had always had an interest in the arts, including drawing, painting and art history, and studied it in a magnet program for four years in high school. Once graduated Magna Cum Laude, I spent a year and a half at St. Petersburg College getting an Associates Degree with honors and then moved to Tallahassee to earn my degree in Art Education at Florida State (Go Noles!). Today, with numerous art shows and charity events under my belt, I have the pleasure of having my work as part of private collections around the Tampa Bay area, Raleigh, NC area and the country.
Photography freezes time and captures a moment that will probably never occur again. How many times have you been somewhere and wished you had your camera? How many times did you actually have your camera and get that “money shot” that you treasure and hold dear to your heart? I try my best to always have my camera, or my phone, to always get that special shot. In my travels in different states over the years I have enjoyed taking in all that that state has to offer in terms of good food, family memories and of course nature photography. I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to send me an email if you're looking for something special - there's a good chance I may be able to create just what you're looking for!
